Basic Info:
Name: Aven
Nickname: Cranky old Hag, Ave, Avenkin
Age: 8 years, 4 months
Gender: Female
Rank: old Kin, Elder
________________________________________________________________
Personality:
{ competitive }
When Aven was younger, she had been very competitive, always striving to win. That trait hadn't faded over the years
{ stubborn }
When she gets her mind on something, nothing will make her change her mind, besides a direct order of her alpha
{ protective }
This Wolf might be old and possibly frail, but if you touch a hair on someone she cares about - she will rip you to shreds
{ serious }
Aven doesn't joke around much, but she can take a joke- just don't catch her in a bad mood
{ caring }
She might come off a little harsh, but Aven does care about her pack; especially the young kin
{ grumpy/rude }
Because of her aching bones or the fact that she isn't the wolf she used to be Aven can be quite grouchy
or rude, snapping and hissing. But she doesn't actually mean it - though the younglings find
that hard to understand at times
{ obedient }
old habits die hard. Reminiscent of her old pack, she still holds to the rules of obeying her
superior and ordering around the inferior. Though her belief in such order has considerably
loosened over time, she will still obey her alpha ( and beta) 's orders without a moments hesitation

History:
Young Kin:
Aven was born into a very competitive and strict pack. Ranks were of high importance and rules were to
be followed at all cost. If you failed to provide the correct manners and formalities to your superior, you were punished viciously.
Training began young, groups of younglings would be led by an older wolf to hunt and practise fighting. Everything was a competition,
you were either the best or failed at everything, leading to you being picked on and your future rank being an omega.
Aven had a high ranking mother who was respected throughout the pack and a father who was a beta. Her family had high
expectations and she did not disappoint. She was one of the fastest wolves in her age group. She had lean, strong legs and a
determined personality. If she couldn't win by her own abilities and strengths, she would get it by going down a
more vicious route. Her littermate feared her, the one with sharp teeth and short patience. She learned quick and
her parents were proud of her, telling her she was doing well and she could do better. She only disobeyed once - her older brother
from a previous litter thought her a lesson that made sure, she'd never do it again.
(1-2 yrs) Kin:
When Aven came of age, many wanted to take her as mate- a well respected, strong, fast and obedient female up for grabs?
no one wanted to let that chance slip trough their paws. But Aven's mother had already found her a mate. He was a giant black beta wolf, with huge claws and
cold eyes. He was more feared than respected throughout the pack and many were sure he'd be the next beta when the Alpha died and
Aven's father took his place. Even though Aven did not wish for a mate nor pups, obedience and the consequences of not fulfilling her orders
had been drilled into her from the moment she was born so she accepted the beta wolf as mate and bore him two sons and a daughter. Her mate
did not treat her well, but she did not complain. It was not her place to complain. He was her superior and she was inferior to him, being female and a lesser
rank. She raised her pups with the same rules and mentality that she had been raised with. Though one day when she came home from a hunt she found both
of her sons dead and her daughter gravely injured by her mate's paws. The only explanation she got was " They were too weak." Aven did not weep for her
sons since she had barely seen them, her mate having whisked them away from the moment they opened their eyes. But she was distraught about
her daughter. She swore that in her next litter if there was a girl she would hide her away, give them to another female. Then her mate would also be happy,
with only sons. Strong, dominant sons.
(3-5 yrs) Kin:
But Aven gave him only one son and two daughters. She gave one daughter away, but had to keep the other one. Once again her
mate killed both of her remaining pups. She tried to give him another litter of pups, but the stress and fear of loosing more younglings
made her birth one stillborn and after that no more. Her mate was furious for now he had no heir.
He lashed out at Ave, biting and scratching until the other pack members had to intervene because he was delivering
harsh punishment without justification. Nonetheless, the weakened, wounded and frail Aven was driven from her pack due to her no longer being useful.
She was too old to find another mate and without her ability to birth pups, she was virtually useless. Aven left her pack, still obedient to her alpha's ( at the time her father's)
orders.
